Benjamin District 25 community,

We are excited to share more information regarding fall 2026-27 Kindergarten registration! If you have a child who will be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2026, this is for you!

Kindergarten pre-registration for incoming kindergarteners NEW to Benjamin School District 25 is now open. NOTE: Current Evergreen preschool students who will move into kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year do NOT need to pre-register, as they are already on file in PowerSchool.

Please visit our Kindergarten 2026-27 webpage for detailed information and for a simplified checklist to make the process a little easier. Some, but not all, steps are outlined below.

ALL incoming kindergarten students will need to complete the following by Friday, June 12, 2026:

• The Kindergarten Intake Form completed in PowerSchool. 

• The online enrollment forms completed in PowerSchool.

• Proof of residency documentation submitted in person at Evergreen Elementary School during office hours (M-F 8:00 AM-3:00 PM). 

  • For document requirements, visit our Student Registration page and click “Proof of Residency”. 

  • If your child has siblings in the district, be sure to note all their names when submitting proof of residency paperwork.

ALL incoming kindergarten students, except current Evergreen preschool students and Best Buddies students, must sign up for a kindergarten screening by Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Evergreen Preschool and Best Buddies students will be pulled for screening during a regular attendance day.

The Evergreen staff would like to welcome our incoming kindergarten students and their parents and guardians to a Meet-and-Greet Event on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 3:30-4:30 PM. Incoming kindergartener families are welcome to attend and will be able to:

• Visit the classrooms

• Meet the teachers

• Participate in fun activities

• Learn about the program and curriculum

• Hear about kindergarten readiness indicators

• Discover how we SOAR, and more!

NOTE: Any kindergarten registrations received after June 12, 2026, must be processed at the Administration Center because Evergreen School will be closed for the summer.
