Dear Benjamin SD25 Families and Community,
Thank you all for such a warm welcome into the Benjamin family over these past weeks. It has been great to get to know so many people in the Benjamin community, and I am looking forward to getting to know your wonderful children as the school year approaches.
I am excited to announce that the Board of Education has approved my proposal to engage in strategic planning this school year. This will be an inclusive process that will involve parents, community, faculty, staff, and students. In the end, we will have a 5-year plan that will cement the traditions, history, and values that make Benjamin SD25 such an amazing place, while also highlighting areas of growth and how we will measure our success going forward. More details will be forthcoming in September on how you can get involved in this process.
We are all looking forward to the start of the school year and having students back in our beautifully renovated buildings and classrooms. Lastly, please stop by and introduce yourself as you see me at the different events. I will be hosting an informal “meet and greet” at the Benjamin and Evergreen curriculum nights. I hope to see you there!
